Your Pet Door Design patio pet door conversion system is custom sized to fit most vinyl and aluminum framed sliding doors manufactured in the United States. Most patio doors come in two, three and four panel versions. Our standard sized system fits doors with over-all frame heights of 82" as measured from the outside, and individual panels not exceeding 36 inch's in width. Over-sized panels up to 48" wide and frame heights of 96" are optional. The pet door design conversion system can also replace glass in other applications. Sun rooms, swing doors, windows and side lite units next to entry doors can all be converted. Call about your "through glass" application.

Is your door Standard or Over-sized?

Quickly measure your door to determine your panel size. This measure does not need to be exact.
Standard sized units fit most 5' and 6' wide two panel sliding doors. Individual panel sizes do not exceed 36" X 82".
Over-sized panels are either wider, taller or both. They typically fit two panel doors that are either 8' wide or 8' tall. Over-sized panels are up to 48" wide by up to 96" tall. Larger conversions are available upon request. Call for details.

A 5’ wide patio door has two 30” panels. A 6’ wide door has two 36” wide panels.
Three and four panel doors typically have similar sized panels.

Standard sized conversion system includes the following:

• Frame material: white or beige fusion welded vinyl.
• Glass: clear double pane safety glass with argon gas fill and warm edge super spacer standard.
• Pre-installed Pet Safe Classic small, medium or large pet door comes standard.
• Standard sizing: existing door panel being converted. Maximum frame width: 36”. Maximum frame height: 82”.

Over-sized conversion system includes the following:

• Frame material: white or beige fusion welded vinyl.
• Glass: clear double pane safety glass with argon gas fill and warm edge super spacer standard.
• Pre-installed Pet Safe Classic small, medium or large pet door comes standard.
